Founded in 2013, Private Visit is a studio based in Taipei City making vintage-style skateboards with solid hardwood sourced from North America. We are inspired by not only skateboarding culture but also the philosophy of time, anthropology, history and folk arts. All of our skateboards are made through our hands in our small but cozy studio. We enjoy making our products and acquiring valuable knowledge from failure and trial like all our human predecessors did.

Our collections also includes apparels, accessories and daily wares. We make our best effort to use natural materials. Private Visit has been featured in Japanese book Tools 2019 'Real stuff for Future Classics', Japanese Popeye Magazine no. 860 'Craftsmanship' issue and many other media outlets. 

Private Visit のスケートボードは、北アメリカ産の最高クラスの無垢材を使用し、一枚一枚手作業で製作、そして独自に開発したパーツを取り付け、初期のスケートボードの素朴な外観を完全に表現することを目標にしています。Private Visit の商品シリーズには、スケートボードの他に、衣類、アクセサリー、インテリア等があります。 2-way のエプロンバックやお香たて、さらに日本の伝統的な手捺染工場と共同で製作した草木染めのバンダナなど、ライフスタイルを豊かにするアイテムが揃っています。

近年、日本の皆様にも注目していただいており、『 POPEYE no.860号 』"Craftsmanship" 特集、『 Tools 2019 』"Real stuff for Future Classics" 、リンネル 2020年4月号に掲載していただきました。
